Fauré in Paris
We are thrilled to announce that as part of our 5th anniversary celebrations, the Florence International Singing Programme is expanding its horizons to host an international "Come and Sing" event in Paris, honouring the 100th anniversary of the renowned composer Gabriel Fauré. This special celebration will take place at the prestigious Eglise Saint-Sulpice, one of the largest and most magnificent churches in Paris. Known for its stunning architecture and historical significance, Eglise Saint-Sulpice offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable musical experience. Join us as we come together to celebrate Fauré’s legacy and elevate our singing programme to new heights, welcoming singers from around the world to this remarkable event.
Whether you are an experienced singer or not, everyone is welcome to participate and join the FISP community for a day full of laughter and new friendships. Our Director of Music, Caius Lee, will be lead the day’s rehearsals and offer workshop masterclasses, drawing from his experience with his choirs as the Director of music at Worcester. We warmly welcome groups and choirs (the more the merrier)! If you would like to bring a large group, please contact us directly for a group rate at info@florenceisp.com.
This project is proudly held in conjunction with our partners at Chorally.
"Singing with FISP is the highlight of my year! Caius is so inspirational! Who else can bring 30 strangers together and have them sing as an accomplished choir within 2 hours? His humour and knowledge make learning fun, the venues are awe-inspiring, and the weekend uplifting!."

The whole day was so inspiring! It was uplifting singing with over 200 other singers in such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The rehearsal was very inclusive regardless of your ability, and the final concert was truly memorable. The opportunity to be taught by such outstanding conductors surrounded by brilliant soloists made it a memorable day. Looking forward to the next one."

The climax of our tour brings us to the magnificent St Sulpice, Paris. The Italianate Roman Catholic church is the second largest church in the city and is recognisable by impressive façade adorned with Corinthian columns and intricate sculptures. Boasting striking neoclassical architecture from the 18th century, it stands as a testament to the city's rich cultural and religious heritage. Saint-Sulpice also holds a prominent place in popular culture, having been featured in literature and films, most notably in Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code." Beyond its cultural and artistic significance, Saint-Sulpice continues to be a vibrant place of worship, welcoming visitors from around the world to experience its beauty and spiritual tranquility.
